According to senior Jonathan Stancik, the new system has been implemented in a way to provide fans with a more efficient and user-friendly way to access tickets and sporting events. “The main goal is to make it easier for families and students to attend our games without the hassle of long lines or last-minute ticketing issues,” Stancik shared. By eliminating the need for physical tickets, Unionville aims to create a smoother, more organized entry process at sporting events.

A large factor in the system’s attractiveness is its simplicity. Fans can visit the Unionville Athletics website, select the game they want to attend, and purchase their tickets directly online. Once purchased, the tickets are delivered via email or text message, and attendees can simply show their digital ticket at the gate. Senior Satwik Panchomarthi explained the straightforward process to achieving tickets for all sporting events, stating “I opened my email from the school district, clicked a link, entered my email address, and I was granted access to all events.”

In the past, administrators had to manage a lot of cash and physical tickets at the door to especially large events like football and basketball games.
