A new school year has started and Unionville High School has many new staff members who have joined us. Two of these new faces you might see often are Mrs. Gamble and Mr. Brezski. Mrs. Gamble works in counseling, while Mr. Brezski is an English teacher.

Passionate in education and helping others, Mrs. Gamble chose to become a counselor, “especially in a school setting”, as it allows her to combine “[her] love for education with the opportunity to support students holistically”. She minored in Educational Studies and Sociology and earned her Bachelor’s degree of Arts in Psychology at the University of Delaware. Additionally, she attended West Chester University for graduate school, where she earned her Master’s degree of Education in Counseling. Mrs. Gamble looks forward to personally meeting and understanding student life at Unionville and each individual’s unique story. She believes in“meeting students where they are,” and focusing on “listening to [her] students first, then helping them develop and grow” to assist them the best she can.

Similarly, Mr. Brezski aims to bring out the creativity in students, with his “high energy” style of teaching. Through his teaching, he wishes to show his students the significance of writing, and help them improve themselves as writers, but also readers. He stresses the importance of literature and its fundamental themes. As a past student at Unionville, he was inspired by the welcoming environment and the amiable teachers to become an English teacher. Having graduated from Saint Joseph's University with a Bachelor’s of Arts in English and Secondary Education, Mr. Brezski is glad to be back at Unionville, and excited to rejoin the Unionville community.

We are honored to have the addition of Mrs. Gamble and Mr. Brezski at Unionville High School. Both are thrilled to get to know students and become a part of Unionville’s identity.
